4 Days Maasai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a viewpoint. Continue towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari camp or lodge.

In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the vast plains of the Mara. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Spend a full day exploring the incredible wildlife of Maasai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is known for its high concentration of wildlife and offers excellent chances to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard.

You may visit the Mara River, especially rewarding during migration season when wildebeest crossings occur. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari or a visit to a Maasai village can also be arranged. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp.

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and drive through the Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhino sanctuary and offers sightings of both black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of bird species including flamingos. The park’s scenic lake and surrounding landscapes make it one of Kenya’s most picturesque safari destinations. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park before departing for Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya safari.
